It is the aim of the European Biomass Days of the
Regions to inform the general public about the significance and
the possibilities of the use of renewable raw materials today and
for the future. From the 28. September to the 05. October
2008 modern wood heating systems in district heating plants
and in private households can be visited just as much as tractors
powered by vegetable oil, biogas plants and other biomass-projects
that have been realised.

C.A.R.M.E.N., the Bavarian coordination office for renewable raw materials, organizes the Biomass Days in concert with the members of the European biomass association (AEBIOM) and further institutions.
